Hi, I'm Jin Shen — you might know me as arinltte online.

I'm an indie developer who loves building software for the Apple ecosystem, especially macOS apps with Swift. I'm drawn to apps that feel like they belong on the Mac: lightweight, instant, focused, and respectful of your attention.

Most of my apps live quietly in the menu bar, without unnecessary dock clutter, browser tabs, or background services. latte, my most popular project with 300+ stars, lets you download video and audio from thousands of sites in a single click. ari brings private, on-device AI to your Mac, running language models locally with MLX.

But macOS is just where I spend a lot of my time — I like building things in general. From native desktop and mobile apps to websites, tools, experiments, and whatever interesting idea comes next, I enjoy taking something from a rough concept to a polished product.
